1. The service
Nelo is an educational web application. Features may change during beta, may occasionally be unavailable and may be added, limited or removed as the product evolves.
2. Accounts and age
You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for providing accurate information. Users who are not old enough to create and use an account independently under the law that applies to them should use guest functionality or involve a parent/guardian in creating or approving the account.
3. Educational and AI content
Nelo supports studying but does not guarantee exam results, grades, factual completeness or uninterrupted availability. AI-generated questions, flashcards, translations and writing assessments can contain errors. Official exam rules and teacher guidance take priority over Nelo feedback.
4. User content and Study Packs
You keep rights to original content you create. By making a Study Pack public, you give Nelo a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce and technically process that content only as needed to provide and promote the public Study Pack inside the service. You must have the right to upload or publish the content and must not infringe copyright, privacy or other rights.
5. Prohibited use
Do not use Nelo to upload unlawful content, malware, content that violates another person’s rights, sensitive credentials, or material intended to exploit or harm minors. Do not attempt to bypass security, abuse AI limits, automate abusive traffic or interfere with the service.
6. Moderation and reports
Nelo may restrict or remove content or accounts when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or enforcement of these Terms. Public content that appears unlawful or infringes rights can be reported to the operator using the legal contact shown on this page. As community features grow, a dedicated notice-and-action workflow will be added where required.
7. Free and paid features
The current service may include free functionality and may later offer Nelo+ or other paid digital services. Before any paid purchase, the price, billing period, renewal/cancellation rules and legally required consumer information must be shown clearly at checkout. These Terms do not waive mandatory consumer rights.
8. Consumer rights
If you buy a paid digital service as an EU consumer, mandatory EU and national consumer protections continue to apply, including applicable pre-contract information, conformity remedies and withdrawal rights. Any exception to a withdrawal right will only be used where the legal requirements for that exception are met.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Nelo at any time. You can request account deletion from account settings. Nelo may suspend an account for serious or repeated violations, security threats or legal reasons, using proportionate measures where practicable.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Nelo is not responsible for educational decisions made solely on the basis of AI output, user-created content, temporary outages or losses caused by circumstances outside reasonable control.
11. Changes to these Terms
Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way. Continued use after an effective update may be treated as acceptance where legally permitted; where separate consent or acceptance is required, Nelo will ask for it.
