1. Necessary authentication cookies

nero_access_token keeps an authenticated session active for its short session lifetime. nero_refresh_token allows the session to be refreshed and can remain for up to 30 days. Both are HTTP-only cookies and are used only when you sign in.

2. Local browser storage

Nelo may use localStorage for interface preferences such as language and theme and, depending on the feature, local library preferences. This data stays in your browser until you clear site data or the app replaces it.

3. Optional analytics and your choice

Analytics is disabled until you explicitly allow it. No analytics request is sent before that choice. You can choose No analytics with the same ease, continue using every feature, and change or withdraw your choice using Analytics settings in the footer.

4. Analytics storage

nero-analytics-consent-v1 stores your choice and its date for up to 12 months. With permission, nero-analytics-last-snapshot-v1 remembers the last daily statistics report to avoid duplicates. Gameplay events are batched in memory and sent directly to PostHog EU; the integration does not set PostHog cookies or record your screen. Withdrawing consent discards queued events and removes the last-report marker.

5. Managing storage

You can remove Nelo cookies and local storage through your browser or device website-data settings. Removing authentication cookies signs you out.
